Trick or Treat... it's that time of year again!

Welcome to another EERIE KC Bakes Halloween Cake Pop Contest!  

Stir up that cauldron of creativity & think outside of the box... now is the time to get really original and brew up Halloween-themed cake pops that will make people cackle & howl!



The Rules

  • Email your photo as an attachment to [email protected] during the specified dates below & use "Halloween Contest" as the subject.
  • In the email, please include the following information:
              - Name              
              - Location
              - Entry Title (something fun & festive)
              - Website (if applicable)
  • Limit one (1) photo per person.  
  • Any photos posted on our Facebook page will be removed.  To be eligible to win, all photos must be uploaded by KC Bakes to the designated contest voting page.
  • Please do not send pictures submitted in the 2011 Contest or 2012 Contest. 

Voting

  • KC Bakes will post a photo album on our website of all pictures that are submitted in the timeframe stated below.
  • NEW! We will have a People's Choice award and two Judges' Choice awards!
  • People's Choice award. You determine the winner - the photo with the most votes, wins!
  • Limit one (1) vote per person.
  • Votes must come through our website. Facebook "likes" and/or "shares" do not count towards official votes.
  • Judges' Choice awards. A panel of cake pop pros will determine one winner each for two categories: 
              - Originality & Creativity
              - Photography Skill & Composition
  • The Judges' Choice panel members will remain anonymous until after the winners are announced. 

Timeline

  • Photo Submission: Tuesday, October 1 through Friday, October 18 at 11:59pm EST
  • Voting: Sunday, October 20 through Monday, October 28 at 11:59pm EST
  • Winner will be announced on our Facebook & Instagram pages on Halloween! (Thursday, October 31 at 2:00pm EST)

  • Winner is responsible for shipping cost.
